♥ Lancôme Grandiôse ♥

Stop everything.
Get in your car,
Drive to the nearest store that stocks Lancôme.
Buy Lancôme Grandiôse mascara.

I'm never one to think wow but this mascara blew me away. The packaging is stunning so much so I actually thought it was a little perfume! But the product is so good. I have short, baby lashes, they're actually quite pathetic so that's why I wasn't going to get too excited but I needed a new mascara and wanted to try a new brand out and had read a few reviews on this especially lengthening short lashes. Did it what! I'm so in love I don't think i'll ever change. The brush on the inside is twisty so it's really east to brush against your lashes. The formula is really easy to layer too. The one thing I must say about it is that it tends to crumble towards the end of the day and it can be really sore when it gets in your eye. Other than that I really love it.
Let's hope the products lasts a while and stays amazing!

♥ Best SPF moisturiser ♥

I love me some SPF. But do you ever find you hate the effort of applying SPF then a moisturiser and then your foundation? Well I cut out the middle man and bought a moisturiser with factor.. Not 10.. Not 20... But factor 30 in! I was in shock when i saw the nice high sun screen factor and the price. You never see such high SPF with UVA and UVB protection under €50 these days. I find it doesn't leave me with a white face like normal sun protector can sometimes do and it's also really quick to sink into the skin.

It's by the skincare range called Simple. If you haven't heard of them, well you've been living under a rock. I've used their normal moisturiser and didn't think much of it. I've also used their toner and a spot treatment by them and have also not been mad about them but this is different.
This moisturiser is smooth, doesn't smell too SPF-y and is in a nice pump and small enough packaging. It costs €5.29 from www.boots.ie and is sometimes on offer. If you're anything like me though you'll of   saved up loads of points and are waiting for a product to spend them on. Well, this is it gals.

This is a must try from me!

Beet smoothie!

Just something I made today and thought i'd share with the world.

Sometimes I see smoothie and juice recipes that have really weird or expensive ingredients in that can be hard to find. So here is my simple beet smoothie.

What you will need
- 1 small beet
- Orange juice
- 2/3 a large banana
- Handfull of blueberries

Put in a blender and add some ice and there you have it! If you don't like the taste of beetroot then this is perfect because the smoothie is really sweet. Remember smoothies are fun and for experimenting :)

♥Home made iced coffee♥

If you're anything like me, you love a trip to Starbucks for an iced coffee of some sort. But did you ever think it was so easy you could just make it at home? Maybe you were put off by the price tag or if you don't have an expresso machine you thought it wouldn't tase the same. Well my friends, i'm here to put younout of your missery and tell you how I make a simple iced coffee!

Step 1 - Heat a glass in hot water to prevent cracking when you make the coffee.
Step 2 - Brew some coffee. I either use instant or sometimes when i'm feeling fancy i'll use my coffee press or my Dolche Gusto machine but for the sake of this we'll use instant. Fill your glass about 1/4 of the way with the coffee and water.
Step 3 - When brewing your coffee, add your desired sugar, sweetener or syrup now because it needs to mix when the coffee is hot.
Step 4 - Add loads of ice. I mean loads.
Step 5 - Lastly, add your desired amount of milk and you're done!

How easy was that?
You can do the same with chai powder or tea too (which is my all time fave).
Get fancy by adding some whipped cream to the top or seperartely froth some milk if you can, if not it's still delicious the way it is. If you want to know where to buy some syrups you can get them in local supermarkets, online or Costa Coffee sell mini ones.

Enjoy making these bad boys!

♡ Wet n Wild ♡

I've never seen a display for Wet n Wild in Ireland and I haven't really looked for it in the UK when I visited but I saw it today in Spain and had a look at the products and saw a few things i'd seen beauty bloggers and youtubers mention so I decided it was time to pick up a couple of things. A girl can never have enough lipsticks right? Well that's what I told myself.
There weren't many testers available so I just went by eye. My personal favourite colours are a true red and violet toned colour and that's what I gravitated towards. The colours I chose are Red Velvet and Smokin' Hot Pink. The names are funny because I don't think they really resemble the colours. Smokin' Hot Pink isn't a hot pink, it's more of a purple pink and Red Velvet isn't really a true red it has an orange undertone to it. I think these products are great. They're a long lasting, moisturising lipstick and they're not too shiny and not too matte which I think is great. For €2.99 can you really refuse to buy them? Red Velvet is a nice dupe for MAC Ruby Woo but less matte (which I think is better because that retro matte is annoying).

The top colour is Red Velvet and the bottom is Smokin' Hot Pink.

I might be back tomorrow with a post on more Wet n Wild products!

♥ All Good Things, Must Come To An End. ♥

If you've followed my blog for a while, you might know I've been living in Gibraltar for the last three months. It's had it's ups and downs for me but it's just not a place I can settle and work in. The working industries there are aimed at customer service or bar work/waitressing. I don't have a problem with these at all, but it's just something I don't wish to do. I could never see myself being happy sitting in an office answering calls and helping people on a customer service basis or serving people food. It's just not for me. When I initially moved here, I intended on finding a job in retail as that's what I did back home but I was looking for more fashion retail work and here, those jobs require you to speak fluent Spanish. Something I wasn't aware of. Many things have told me I need to go home and regroup. We had a problem with our apartment and we had to leave, money has been an issue (can't work on a blog if you don't have the money to get products!) and the last few days have just been an emotional train-wreck. So I have a week holiday booked in Torremolinos, Spain which is about 2 hours away on a bus and I'm going to relax, work out (who the hotel has a gym!) and catch up on some reading. I have a few posts I'm going to work on so I can put them up while I'm there and then I'm going to get back home and back working on my blog.

Although I've found things hard here, I'm really looking forward to going home and seeing my friends and family. Even though I'm going to be jobless, I see it as an opportunity to write more and focus on myself. Coming here as opened a window for me. I've found a love for travelling which I didn't think would ever happen. I now know I want to do so much more with my life. I've even started looking into animal conservation projects in Africa and Asia. I really recommend people try and do something like this. If I ever do it (which I know I will :P) I will definitely do a blog post on that. Oh imagine the photography you could take.
Okay time to get back on topic! I've done things in the last few months I've never done in my entire life and even though this has been a bit of a fail, It still counts as a life lesson and a step in the right direction.

I truly believe in the phrase, don't knock it until you try it. It might be my new mantra!
I hope you guys have liked the few posts I've done about my trip here, and I hope you like the pictures I've posted. It really is a beautiful place, just might be the wrong time for me. Never give up on your dreams and opportunities as you continue to grow and learn every time you do something new.

♡ My Blogging Camera & Questions Answered! ♡

"Do I need an DSLR for my blog?"
"How much should I spend on a camera?"
"Should I buy a million lenses, fancy tripod, crazy lighting?"

I'm going to answer these questions and tell you about the camera I own, why I bought it and what I use it for. So let's get started!
I've been blogging now for over a year and it's only lately I've gotten quite serious about it. Only because I'm out of work, I just moved country and it's been keeping me sane. I've always loved writing and make up and shopping so it just felt like something fun to do.
Last year I bought a Nikon D3200 with some money I had saved up from my wages. I researched a lot of cameras and was asking these questions to myself.
Did I need it for my blog? No. Absolutely not! but I intended on travelling and I wanted to explore the world of photography so the D3200 seemed like a perfect introductory camera for this. At the time I think it cost me about €550 (now I think it's about €100 cheaper) It came with a standard 'kit' lens and some nice features. I could also use it for my blog. If I wasn't into photography would I have bought it? No. Personally, a digital camera is just as good for a beginner blogger. Why spend money on something you don't know you're going to actually do and be serious about?
Next question! How much to spend. Well if you're like everyone else I'm sure you either have an Iphone which has quite a good 8mp camera on it. I'm often surprised about what it can do. If not sure you or your parents have a digital camera. Before my DSLR I had a Fujifilm 14mp digital and it was quite the nifty thing. If not, have a look on websites like Donedeal.ie or Adverts.ie there's always someone selling something for cheap! Or even borrow a camera. Perhaps a family member no longer uses theirs because they just use their phone.
Lastly, you've bought yourself a DSLR because you think you needed something better and more able to get that crisp picture you desire. But it's just not enough. "Should I buy a new lens? Do I need a tripod? Lighting?" Kit lenses can only get you so far. They're not the best but they're not the worst. In my personal opinion, the next lens you could get for your blog would be a nice 50mm or 35mm lens. They're good for close ups which is also good for street photography and nice nature photography too. As for a tripod and lighting. If you're serious and want to start a youtube channel perhaps then yes maybe. A tripod would also come in handy for landscape photography if you wanted dual purpose. Lighting isn't an expense I think you should dish out on for a long time. Try taking your blog pictures in the morning and if you're serious then look into it in the future. Don't waste money for no reason!

♥ First Aid Beauty ♥

If you're looking for an amazing skincare product, look no further and just read this blog post!

Before I left Ireland, my skin had exploded with spots. That was back in February. It's now May and It's only been the last few weeks that my skin has really started to improve. I couldn't figure out what was causing it which was the most frustrating thing. I hadn't changed any products at all in my routine and I couldn't even blame it on the change of climate because it happened while I was still in Ireland. So when I got to Gibraltar I bought a natural home made soap and that didn't work, I tried spot treatments, cleansers and still no luck. My skin was dry, super flaky, spotty and just in a terrible condition. It was starting to hurt my self esteem and since I don't ever suffer with spots like this, it was really annoying. I even started to think it was an allergy to a bi-product in something but even taking piriton wasn't helping. So I hit up my friend youtube and found First Aid Beauty!

I went to feelunique.com (which is my favourite website for beauty stuff) and bought the Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay for £18 and the Skin Rescue Purifying Mask with Red Clay for £22. I know these prices seem a bit steep but I was desperate and boy am I glad I bought them. I started using them straight away and within 3-4 days my skin had started to clear up. The texture of both products are super smooth and silky but you can feel them working without being too heavy on your skin. The mask is also really fun because unlike most clay masks, it's a peel off one. My favourite!
So in conclusion, if you have troubled skin that's making you feel like there's no saving it, go check out these products and I promise you that they will improve your skin.

Hope you're having a FAB (see what I did there?) weekend and i'll be back in the week with more posts!

♡ Michael Kors ♡

Michael Kors is an American designer based in New York but over the last few years, his accessories have just been exploding all over the world. These are the three most valued pieces that I own.

The watch is the MK-5781 and cost £250 pounds. I know this seems like a crazy amount for a watch. Who wears watches anymore? But with a watch like this, you will wear it I swear. It's a beautiful rose gold with a mother of pearl face and diamante ring around it. I got it in a Michael Kors boutique in London.

Next up is the Michael Kors Jet Set Continental Travel Wallet in Black Zoom. I love the leather used for this wallet as it's really scratch proof and easy to wipe if it gets dirty so it really does reassure you knowing you can prolong it's life easily. It's simple yet chic with it's gold zip, gold name on the front and gold zip fastener which also has the Michael Kors logo. It was €140 from Brown Thomas in Cork.

Lastly are these sunglasses which are the Michael Kors M3640S They come in a nice protective case and a cloth to keep them clean. They are black and silver and have the MK logo on both sides of the ear pieces. They're quite big for my face so I rarely ware them. These were £80 in an Michael Kors shop also. I think they were an impulse buy haha.

Have a great weekend. Love

♥ Spring/Summer Perfume collection ♥

Finally getting around to doing this post! This isn't my full collection, this is just what I have with me while I'm in Gibraltar so basically all my floral, sweet, pretty smelling perfumes. I didn't include my VS Noir in this post because It's a body spray not a perfume. Let's get to it then.

I'll start with my most worn, all time favourite perfume. Floral by Paul Smith. It's a really old perfume and in time I think it will be discontinued because it's slowly getting cheaper and cheaper. I will have to stock up if they get rid of it! It's a citrusy floral scent with slight musk in it's undertones. I wear this mostly in the day but sometimes at night too. Beautiful fragrance and £12.99 on boots.co.uk

Next up is Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf. I eyed this perfume up for years until I finally caved and splashed out £60 ish pounds for it in dutyfree but my oh my is it stunning. The packaging is in the shape of a grenade and the perfume is slightly pink. Again predominantly floral with scents of jasmine, orchid and rose but what gives it that hit is the bergamot. Only down side to this is even though it's an eu de parfum, I find it still runs out quickly. But then I do use this in the day and night so maybe that's why.

Another blast from my past is the Ma dame by Jean Paul Gaultier. I've had the eu de parfum and eu de toilette and I must say they are nothing alike. This is another rose and musk mixes. I think I like that combination haha but you can also smell some citrus in there too. £46 on Debenhams.co.uk and definitely a night time scent.

This is probably the sweetest smelling perfume I own. Juicy Couture - Viva la Juicy La Fleur (mouthful) Vanilla, rose, honeysuckle, water lily are the main notes in this fragrance. Very sweet but long lasting on the skin and in the bottle! I've owned a 50ml bottle for over a year and a half and it's still going strong. Debenhams.co.uk for around £50.

Lastly, my least floral smelling perfume. Seductive Wild Summer by Guess I wear this in the day when it's nice and sunny. I find this is a really light perfume. Musky, cashmere, rose and pear just being a few of the notes. Not sure on price or where to buy anymore!

Hope you've enjoyed that little collection post/review of some perfumes. I might so this again for Autumn/Winter because I wear completely different fragrances then. See you in a few days for a new post. Sticking with collections, it'll be my Michael Kors collection. Bye!

♡ April Favourites ♡

Okay I lied. In my revamp post I said my next post would be my perfume collection but then I thought what about a favourites?

I got slightly sun burnt in April (shame on me) and the Hawiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun really helped soothe my skin. I used this last year and just fell in love with it. It's amazing and often on sale in boots!
Shine and heat defence in one? I was all over this when I saw it in the shop. V05 Smoothly Does It. It smells like something you'd wear as a body mist. It helps keep the fly away hears at bay and I use this before I blow dry my hair.

For perfume, I rediscovered an old gem. Floral by Paul Smith. It's fruity, feminine and just a perfect summer fragrance. This is my fourth bottle I love it so much. You can get it in some debenhams and boots.

Next are these pretty nifty sunglasses. They were on sale (I live in a no tax place too woohoo) for £80 down from £120 and I just fell in love. Black and gold is my favourite combination. I would never wear this type of frame but I just love them! They are the Ray-Ban Clubmaster W0365. You need these.

For jewelry I've had a thing for statement necklaces but not too crazy. This gold and cream necklace goes with every outfit. I've been wearing it over t-shirts to just spruce up an outfit. It's from Forever 21.
Lastly, make-up. It's getting really hot here so I'm naturally wearing less or it slides off my face. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is and always will be my day time foundation. I just have a great relationship with it. It's easy to blend, light and sheer coverage but buildable and just easy to apply in five minutes with it being fool proof once you pick the right colour. I bought mine in Brown Thomas in Cork for €38

If i'm not feeling to confidant about my skin I add a bit of concealer. My skin has gotten a bit darker so I'm able to use this next product more as it suits my skin a bit better now. It's the Collection(2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade Light 2. It's creamy, not sticky at all and can be used for all purposes. Available from Boots.

For under the eye to highlight it I've been obsessed with Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal eyeliner in nude It gives that little bit more brightness to the eye on a dull day. These eyeliners are great. If you haven't tried them, where have you been? Again, Boots sell it ;).

And last but not least, I've been a bit lazy on the blush & bronzer so to make myself use it more I've just been keeping the Naked Flushed out to remind myself to use it. The products in this pallet are so pigmented (that highlighter.. daaaamn) and pretty. Super wearable especially for summer. The bronzer is a little shimmery though. You can get this in so many department stores or online.

That's it for this months favourites. I can see next months being a lot of iced drinks and hats because it's going to get hot hot hot! Have a blast of a bank holiday guys and I'll see you soon. Next will be my perfume collection.

♥ Blog revamp (: ♥

Just a short post to say I've done a few things to the layout and added a banner to the blog to make it a bit more professional and personal.

I hope you like it and either tonight or tomorrow I should have a perfume collection post live and then on Sunday my haul pt 2 should be up!

Have a great weekend

♡ Spring Haul ♡

Hey guys! So yesterday I went to Algecerias in Spain to do some shopping. It's where Primark is and I love Primark. We set off at 11am and went around the shopping centre. I got bits in Primark and H&M. I'm also going to show you a few bits i've gotten here in Gibraltar from Peacocks. This is part one so it's only going to have H&M and Peacocks in because there's a lot of stuff to cover!
Let's start with H&M. They had some really cool pieces here. I got this sheer maxi dress with a slip under it which just stops above the knee. I think it's stunning. When I tried it on I knew I had to have it! It cost me €29.99

Next is this mint green kimono. It's also a sheer material. What I like about this is it's so versatile. It really would go with anything! The only thing that bothers me is the material will snag easily so I'm going to be extra careful. It was also available in white but mint is so on trend right now and so out of my normal comfort zone, I pushed myself. It cost €14.99

Following that is this beautiful tassel crop top. This will look great with a maxi skirt or even a pair of denim shorts. As it's sheer I think a bandeaux would look best. This cost €12.99

Finally from H&M is this pretty fitted daisy dress. It's nice and comfy. Paired with a straw hat and some round sunglasses. Bingo! It's a perfect spring essential outfit for me because it's just so simple to put together. And why would you leave it at an amazing price of €9.99? There were four or five other prints available for the same price, I wish I got more.

Now for Peacocks. First up are these floral high waisted shorts. These only cost £8. How could I say no? I actually walked passed the shop and stopped and went back to get them. One of those moments when you know you have to get it.

Lastly is this plain black maxi skirt with a tie at the waist. Normally i'd be wary about a maxi skirt because I'm only 5'2" and i'd have to go for petite but this one is actually fine and doesn't drag much at all. Obviously paired with a string top or more commonly a crop top.

That's all for part 1 of this haul. Sometimes inspiration is needed for fashion and I hope you've gotten some from this post. I really love these pieces and I can't wait to wear them whether it's day time smartness or evening time chic. Have a great Monday guys and I'll see you soon for the next installment of this hall (and a lot more stuff).

♥ My nearly full MAC pallet ♥

Back with a new post today! This is going to be my neutrals pallet once It's finished. I'll then buy a new one and have a mixed coloured pallet but I really don't use colours anymore. Sorry for it being a bit dirty.. you know how eyeshadow gets. You can't clean it enough, it gets dirty again! especially black pallets. I wish they did these in white! I'd be all over that. This is a refil pallet with 15x places. Each refil costs about €12. Some I have gotten from the UK and have been duty free prices. The Case cost €16 for the outside and €8 for the divider (I think).

Anyway, enjoy looking at my MAC pallet :)

I kind of have them in lightest to darkest kind of but not really hehe. Here's a list in case you can't read the font.
Top line: Idol Eyes, Nylon, All That Glitters & Satin Taupe
Middle line: Crystal Avalanche, Vex, Sable, Blackberry, & Freshwater.
Bottom line: Shroom, Naked Lunch, Woodwinked, Expensive Pink & Deep Truth.
So to explain them a bit more and what I use them for. Crystal Avalance, Nylon & Idol Eyes are my Inner corner shadows. I sometimes use Nylon for highlighting too because it's such a pretty colour.
Naked lunch, Woodwinked, Expensive Pink, All That Glitters, Shroom, Vex, Sable and Fresh Water would be my lid colours. So I would apply these over the lid. My favourites are Naked lunch, Shroom & Sable.

Then I would follow with either Satin Taupe, Blackberry & Deep Truth as a crease colour in my eye for definition.
I've been collecting these colours a while now but the majority I've gotten in the last 18 months. I love me some neutrals.. and the random blues! Like I said this will be my neutrals pallet when I get a new one to do some colours. I have a few I really want already. I also know more neutrals I want. Guess I know where my future pay cheques are going! As you can see here too there's a lovely nail mark on Satin Taupe where I tried to pop the refil out :(
Have a great day everyone. Bye!

♡ Favourite make up brushes! ♡

I'm trying to post more frequently on my blog as it's something that I really like doing when I get the time. I was just about to clean my brushes when I thought this could be an interesting post. My favourite brushes and what I like to use them for. So here goes!

We'll start from foundation. I love me some Real Techniques like so many others but this brush just blows my mind away. It's the Expert Face Brush. It's a structured brush but it enables you to blend and buff your product seamlessly into the skin as if it were airbrushed foundation. When I first stumbled upon Real Techniques I knew this would be one of the brushes I had to have. So that's exactly what I went out and did the next day!
Also for foundation I like to use the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge especially when using my Rimmel Wake Me Up. It just seems to work really well. I also use it for concealer too because sometimes I find with my fingers I actually take the product off where as the sponge pats it on nicely and gives a great coverage.

For bronzer I LOVE using the Real Techniques Blush Brush. You will see I don't use the brushes for what they're labelled for. I use this to dust product around my face and neck. Because the brush is so big and fluffy it does a great job without making yourself accidentally put on too much product.

For powder I love this nice soft fluffy brush from ELF (In the picture below!). Inexpensive and just an all round great brush. Sticking with the ELF brushes i'll talk about the next brush which is labeled the Angled Foundation Brush which is not what I use it for. I actually use it for contouring! I'm really bad at contouring and this brush just really gets in that groove but blends really nicely. Next for blush I use the ELF Blush Brush as it picks up a nice amount of product, pats it on nicely and just doesn't go over board which is key for me.

Nice dirty brushes ;)

For eyes I think every girl should own MAC brushes. They just work the best! IMO ;). From left to right in this picture is the MAC 266 which is a soft angled brush which I use for my brows, MAC 239 a flat shader brush to pack on shadows and I feel packing on more glittery shadows really helps with less fall-out. Then there are two MAC 227 fluffy crease brushes. You need one for application then a clean (even though they're not clean haha) one for blending. Dirty blending brush = dirty messy make up. And finally a MAC 224 which I use for extra blending. It's bigger and can cover and blend more, faster.

And finally this small brush might look like it's an odd one out but I really couldn't survive without it. I use it mainly for the top end which I use for adding a highlight into the inner corner of my eye. It really helps disguise those dark circles.

So there we have it. My favourite make up brushes and what I use nearly every day. I put a lot of effort into this post and I hope it's not too much to read! My next post is going to be a MAC pallet tour which will be up in the next few days. Bye!

♥ My make up staples ♥

Hey guys! It's been a while so I thought i'd give you my current make up staples.
It's spring now and I'm living in a hotter climate now so It was time to update what I was using for daily make up. I'm still a natural gal with some different lip products but I feel like I'm really trying to use different things this year. I hope you enjoy this post!

Foundation - Chanel Vita Lumeier Aqua has always been my favorite light foundation for day time. It's nice and sheer but just the right amount of coverage to hide my redness and it can be layered if necessary without looking cakey. Nars sheer glow for night time because it gives such a flawless base. It's creamy and dewey but not too much. Although I have to get it from the UK and even though you have to buy the pump separately which can be annoying, it's so worth the money. I will repurchase this when I need to no doubt! I always get complements when wearing this foundation.

Concealer - I'm really liking a couple of concealers at the moment. For under my eyes it seems to be Nars stick concealer which is doing it for me. It's quite expensive for the amount of product you get but I preferred it to the creamy concealer which everyone raved about. It did nothing for my dark circles. Also I'm loving the Mineralize concealer. I've had a love hate relationship with this product and I think it's because the shade I own is a bit too light for me. But as I'm starting to get a bit of a tan now, it's becoming a beautiful highlighting concealer with good coverage.

Blush - Nars Sex Bomb. Looks really pale in the pallet but once it's on my skin it gives a bronzy look. Weird but I love it. I'm also loving Immortal Flower by MAC. It's another pretty pale pink. Pink is going to be my main colour this Spring/Summer. Both aren't shimmery at all

Mascara - Maybelline The Falsies. 'Nuff said ;) But if you would like to know a few things I like about this product, i'll tell you. For a drug store mascara it's probably one of the best. I have silly eyelashes that don't hold a curl and don't get much length and volume. For me this mascara works best. I've tried many other brands from high end to low end. I also like this when it's a little dry! Seems to work better for me then :)

Powder - Stay matte by Rimmel. It just gets the job done! It doesn't clog my pores, it keeps me matte for a long time and It doesn't add any more product to my face. I find it's a good powder for topping up in the day too in case you need your make up to stay put for a long time.

Lip - I am LOVING Revlon at the moment. Ranging from their lip butters in Candy Apple which is a lovely sheer red. It's the first red lip product I wore to get used to such a bright colour and Peach Parfait a gorgeous glittery pinky/peach coral colour. Then a  matte balm in the shade Elusive a matte nudeish pink. It's a beautiful colour with a creamy texture. I really like the formula of these balms. It also doesn't tent to get in the groves of your lips if you forgot to exfoliate them! Also a lacquer balm in the shade Vivacious which is a brighter pink than the others yet still has a lovely texture and feel to it. I also love the minty smell to these balms. I know some people don't but I can't get enough. And finally a lip gloss which I usually don't wear but this gloss from Revlon is so nicely pigmented, the packaging is gorgeous and chic while the product remains one of the best glosses I've ever tried. The one pictured is a orangey coral shade called Kiss Me Coral
The only product here I have shared is a lipstick from MAC and it's Plink! One of my all time favourites. The palest pink of the lot and it's also pretty sheer because it's a Lustre formulation but it's just so pretty. It also has a really nice smell to it haha.

Eyes - For me lately it's been dewy skin and matte eyes with a little hint of shimmer. So naturally, the Urban Decay Naked Basics pallet is just so beautiful and easy. I can create the smokey eyes I like or even just basic colours. Also for liquid eyeliner I've recently fallen in love with the Rimmel Scandaleyes liquid pen. With ease and control you can make simple lash lines or winged out cat eyes.

Eye Primer - As much as I love Urban Decay primer potion, My eyes have become a bit oily as of late and I had to get something to keep my eye shadows matte and second actually on my eyelids! I heard a lot of good things about the Nars primer so that's what I bought. It's easy to blend and really does keep my eye shadow on and in place.

Bronzer - Finally here's my all time favorite bronzer more commonly known for it's name 'chocolate' because of it's shape. Unfortunately it doesn't smell like chocolate ;). It's actually called Delice de Poudre in the shade 51 by Bourjois. It's matte, subtle but just perfect for my skin tone. It makes it look super healthy and glowey and that's exactly what you need.

Now guys that's it for this post. I hope you like these products and try them out for yourself. Byeeee!

♡ My new home ♡

Some of you may or may not know this but I recently moved over to Gibraltar for 6 months to live with my brother! I've been here two weeks today and feel like I have seen enough to be able to give you a post on what it's like here.

It's starting to get really warm now. It reached 19 degrees today and it's only going to get warmer. I can't wait to be wearing summer clothes when everyone is going to be in spring clothes :) mwhahaha.

Gibraltar is a rock below Spain but it's actually part of Britain. So the people here are British not Spanish. They call themselves Gibraltarians.

Here are some pictures of the rock I want to share with you from my trip last week.

This is the crazy airport that's also a road! You can only fly to and from the uk from this airport as it's relatively new.

View of the Mediterranean sea. If you kept going you would end up in Italy.

St. Micheal's cave which is a natural cave with stalactites and stalagmites in. Used as a hospital in WW2 and now holds classical music concerts.

The highest point of the rock. How beautiful is that. Barely a cloud in the sky!

And lastly a Gibraltarian monkey! Apparently the story is, if all the monkeys left the rock, it would no longer remain under British rule. Interesting huh :)

hope you've enjoyed these images. Talk soon!

Maybelline baby skin

This is the product I'm really excited about! For a long time I wanted benefits or porefessional primer but it's just so expensive I could never bring myself to buy it. So while ago I was in the drugstore and this just launched by Maybelline and I went on a whim and decided to purchase it. It was inexpensive and had a really attractive packaging so naturally I was drawn in.

I put it in the test over the last few weeks and although it's not a whole face primer, it really does eliminate the appearance of pores. it's a slightly different texture to the benefit porefessional but I find it ultimately does the same job. It's not greasy on the skin, it's nice and lightweight with no shine. I find that for the money it's a great product.

You can buy it in Superdrug, boots and other pharmacies that stock Maybelline.

Thanks reading this post and I'll talk to you guys soon. Bye!

Moving!

I'm currently moving.. Not house but country! This time next week i'll be in Gibraltar starting my new life. It's really tough packing and trying to sort my life into a few boxes but I know it's time to move on. I've come to dislike where I'm living and feel a change is badly needed so I was talking to my brother lives in Gibraltar and he told me why not pack up and move over there so that's exactly what I'm doing. I will miss my friends and family and of course my dog but sometimes you just need change in your life. It's going to be a great experience and I'm really excited about doing it and it's only for a short while anyway so why not

Life is too short to be stuck in a job that you don't like, working for people who you don't get on with. I'm going to try and go back to college and do some more graphic design stuf, hopefully get a job working in a clothing store and really work on profecting me and who I am.

It's going to be tough I've left my job and my house to move to another country with no job lined up and just about somewhere to live but like I said these challenges have to be made sometimes. I'm only 22 so for me to never get a job again is quite unrealistic.

My advice to anyone out there who doesn't like the job or where they're living just move. Do it. You have to do it. There is no point being unhappy when you don't have to be. It's your life live how you want to live it and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Be happy.
Cherish everything.
Return with an open mind.
But most importantly, be you for your whole life.

I will keep you updated on when I move another blog posts. Tomorrow I will upload a blog post and origins skin care. It will be the last post I do for a while until I get myself sorted and until I have more content to post about. I'm hoping to do my fashion related posts in the future as it's what I'm really interested in at the moment. That's all for now, hope you had a great weekend and I'll see you guys soon bye.

New nail polishes

To start this haul I'm going to show you some polishes I bought. I got two from Essie and one from MAC. I bought them while I was away in the UK but you can most likely find them anywhere or online as they're well known brands.

This is my first ever MAC nail polish. It's barely visible on the nail wheel but it's a light peachy neutral colour that I got for french manicures it's called Undercover Nude. It's super sheer but still holds a colour on the nail. It's from the MAC and Carine Roitfeld collection. Although it takes a few coats, the polish is beautiful and I find it to not be streaky at all and also dries really fast. It does make me want to look at more MAC polishes and see if they have anything special to offer. I really like the packaging too!

Above are the shades In Stitches (lighter shade) and Island Hopping(darker shade). This is after one coat and as you can see it's really good coverage. What I love about essie is they're so easy to apply and the drying time is great. With these as well you'll be ready in no time!

This is the two essie polishes after a second coat. The lighter shade does change a bit but the darker shade really can be used with only one coat if necessary. I really like these shades as a good transition from winter to spring. Both cost £7.99

Hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what you think of the colours and I'll see you in a few days :D
