New nail polishes

To start this haul I'm going to show you some polishes I bought. I got two from Essie and one from MAC. I bought them while I was away in the UK but you can most likely find them anywhere or online as they're well known brands.

This is my first ever MAC nail polish. It's barely visible on the nail wheel but it's a light peachy neutral colour that I got for french manicures it's called Undercover Nude. It's super sheer but still holds a colour on the nail. It's from the MAC and Carine Roitfeld collection. Although it takes a few coats, the polish is beautiful and I find it to not be streaky at all and also dries really fast. It does make me want to look at more MAC polishes and see if they have anything special to offer. I really like the packaging too!

Above are the shades In Stitches (lighter shade) and Island Hopping(darker shade). This is after one coat and as you can see it's really good coverage. What I love about essie is they're so easy to apply and the drying time is great. With these as well you'll be ready in no time!

This is the two essie polishes after a second coat. The lighter shade does change a bit but the darker shade really can be used with only one coat if necessary. I really like these shades as a good transition from winter to spring. Both cost £7.99

Hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what you think of the colours and I'll see you in a few days :D

❤ New year, new products! ❤

I did a liiitle bit of shopping today and wanted to try some new products. Some i've heard great things about and some that just stood out to me.

Starting with the beauty and skincare bits I got. I needed a new moisturiser with an spf because I really do believe you need to use an SPF daily. Even in winter! I'm turning 22 in a few days and i'm not getting any younger and SPFs with a UVA and UVB protection will benefit me in the future. Nothing lower than SPF 30 for your face. It's by Simple. It's soothing and refreshing to the skin. Price was approx €5

Also for my face I picked up two masks one for hydration and a mud mask to deep clean my skin. I have used the hydrating mask and must say it was really good. It cleared up the dry skin I had been battling with around my mouth so I will purchase this again when my skin needs that extra boost. Both were around €1.49 each

From Rimmel I got the stay matte powder in translucent because I've heard great things about it for really mattefying the skin. A cult beauty buy! €4.99

Revlon had a deal on a few of their new products they were launching with some old ones too so I purchased a new Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait which is a beautiful peachy-coral colour that's nice and sheer with a bit of shimmer in it. It'll be great for spring time which is just around the corner! I paired it with their new mascara which has just launched. I needed a new mascara as mine is starting to dry out and it well passed its use by date. So I shall let you know how I get on with it :) the deal was two for €14!

Lastly I picked up this new product from Maybelline. I haven't seen any reviews for it but I have been interested in the porefeshional by Benefit but couldn't for the life of me pay the price. So again this is something I'll let you know about!

Hope you enjoyed this post. I purchased everything from Boots and there are some really good deals going there at the moment so go on over to Boots and treat yourself :)
